I was a small business owner/self employed running men’s recreational hockey league’s in Sarnia until Covid/Lockdown’s forced me out of business. I was approved to receive a small business grant last year then was sent a letter stating I was ineligible then it was closed. I was $15000 behind in my rent in March of 2022 but have since been able to reduce it to $3,760.88 with some employment and help from friends. I have been issued a N4 from my landlord to have the remainder paid by Oct 12th or be evicted, I have nowhere to turn to and was told from a friend to talk to the Inn of the Good Shepherd.
