I was staying In a place that my friend was renting. She stopped paying rent to the landlord. I was giving her money to pay the rent. Landlord has offered me to lease the place under my name but I need last months rent. I recently lost my job and just got another one. So i was without pay for awhile. And what I did have I needed to catch up on bills. She also never paid the hydro either so it was about to be cut off until I just put it in my name. Any help would be great. New lessee starts soon. But she wants 1850 for last months rent and I don’t have it. Landlord can confirm.
