Me and my partner filed taxes together since we are common law and I got letters in the mail saying I owe back countless amount of money back to the government over $2400 worth and part of that was my baby bonus. For an entire month I’ve been without baby bonus and cannot work since I am pregnant and having a c section end of June. Between everything my partner makes $3000 or under a month and that barely covers all bills without my help not including any food for the pets etc. it’s created a huge strain on our rent and getting it paid. I sell my own personal clothing for stuff needed for our 10 month old or for the pets if so or a bit of food here and there. We couldn’t afford to pay aprils rent on time by the N4 date so they are now needing both april and mays rent. We are in need of help getting the cost down
